Audio drops out 1 beat before edit points

Yesterday audio on my bass track started dropping out 1 beat before edit points. Could be Flex Time adjustment, region corner change, pasting a figure. It doesn't happen with every edit but when it does it's immediately after the edit's been performed, then eventually comes back. When it happens, it's only if I start rolling a bar or two before the spot. If I start within the region where the edit happened audio plays fine.

Hey Eddie - responded on my phone but doesn't look like it went through...

2 parts to my response: 1) the bass was recorded direct through an UA Apollo Twin. 2) Are you talking about Standard, Voice Isolation, etc., with Mic Mode? The Apollo would bypass that, wouldn't it?

One last thing - just noticed that the problem seems to time dependent, not location. If I back up further than a bar or 2 to roll into the edit location, the drop out happens earlier ahead of the spot. Does that make indicate something you might not have thought of before?

Thanks for the suggestions, btw

Do you mean as in Auto, standard and voice isolation?

Yes

The only other thing I can think of is your buffer size. Can you set it to 1024? If I think of something else, I will chime in.

Can you try this on a fresh session to make sure you are not working with a corrupt session?
