iPad Pro M4 screen dims while watching Plex

i have recently upgraded to an ipad pro 13inch (m4) while watching plex the screen goes dim/darker after about 5mins. I have to tap screen to brighten it back up. All the usual suspects like auto lock etc are turned off or where they should be. My old 2018 12.9 pro didn't do this and this ipad copied all the settings from that one.

Plex has no settings for screen brightness or dimming etc

Help please!

Try enabling the Attention Aware feature...

Settings > FaceID & Passcode > Attention-Aware Features - set to ON

When set to ON - the iPad will sense your attention - and prevent the iPad screen from automatically dimming, or locking the display - while you are actively looking directly at the screen. The timeout period is determined by the Auto-Lock setting:

Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto Lock > select as required
