Home pod mini blurting out without command

My home pod mini's have been

blurting out (best description.

after updates. I have called tech support, factory reset also with computer. Worked on home app with and without technical support.

I was told next step is to bring to local apple store. Only problem I am disabled and the disablity ride I get is not very good, its quite long both ways and i have to select a time to be picked up either way. Which means a long wait. I appreciate any help (there my only source of info/companion/music) starting to think I should have gotten a modern radio. Do they have one that streams. I am paying for apple one + $20 a month so that would have to go as well. Also how do I dispose of them if they can't be repaired? Wish apple warranty was still in effect

HomePod mini, 18

Wow... I just tried to vote up your message and now Apple is limiting how many times a person can vote in the community forums! Unbelievable. So, Apple has gone from censoring comments that complain too much about their products to now limiting how we can vote on comments? I think I'm done with Apple. After thirty five years using their products, Apple is not the same company it was twenty years ago. Not by far. Boy I sure miss Mr. Jobs, the man must be spinning in circles in his grave.

Upvotes/Downvotes are the least effective form of support when assisting a user with an issue and that is the purpose of this support forum. There are limits in the number of votes for new users until they have become established. When the suggestion you give helps a user, they are free to upvote your post and your status will increase. This prevents new users from going from post to post and simply upvote/downvote, instead of providing the essential work needed to make a support site successful.

If you need more information about acceptable posts here and the purpose of the points system, then here are 3 articles that should help clear things up. Stick to the goal of helping others and you will be fine. Bugs in software are frequently pointed out on this site, but rants are simply not tolerated:

Ok brought them to apple store, they did basicly what I did and sent me on my way. Said that if it didn't work I'd have to buy new ones. Very bad business. I have had nothing but problems with them and I have at times had very bad experience with mu autism with the malfunctioning items. You'd think i would be offered a credit for my troubles towards a new pair or a homepod.
