Why does Apple Music link albums to different artists on multiple devices?

iPhone, iPad, iTunes and Apple Music for Windows - across each device and program, Apple Music fails to link albums to the correct artist, if it connects to anything at all. It doesn’t matter how obscure or popular the artist, the same files will pull a different result on each device.

As far as I can tell there’s no way to report errors to Apple Music unless you’re the artist, no way for the user to manually link albums to the correct artist and no editing of file metadata that will ensure the same file syncs to an Artist Page the same way across devices.

Is there a fix for this? Can the user fix this? Can it be fixed across multiple devices? Can it be fixed in a way that the issue doesn’t reappear with every sync? Can Apple fix this? Why hasn’t Apple fixed this?
