AirPods 4 compatibility issues with iPad A16

When using streaming services like Netflix on my iPad A16 with my AirPods 4, the sound distorts. This does not happen when listening to music or with my iPhone 16. I have disconnected the AirPods and reset them but that did not work. I also checked that my iPad is running the latest software. What should I do?
