Why my Macbook Air screen randomly goes dimmed, with dark stripes and "charred" and then goes back to normal in a few seconds?

I have got a new MacBook Air M2, and almost immediately I started having this issue - at absolutely random moments the screen goes dim for no reason, and sometimes with dark stripes and part of the display looks almost "charred". This "charred" spot always goes from the same corner - top right.

That appears to be a hardware issue. Time to have the computer serviced.
