iPad randomly freezing, then turning off
Ever since yesterday last night, I opened an app (Alight Motion, an app notorious for crashing) to use it for a bit but it instantly froze up my iPad for about 5 minutes. I tried to turn it off and shut it off while it was frozen but nothing worked; only after 5 minutes it shut off.
Now, my iPad randomly freezes and turns off (typically when something abrupt happens like an ad pops up, or especially when I'm trying to enter a new app; however, I think it may also be shutting off randomly even without use as when I open my iPad it'll tell me to enter passcode to enable face ID, though I'm not entirely sure), and it's annoying.
It would first freeze for 30 secs to 2 mins before my screen blackens to the loading screen for 1-2 mins, and then to the white apple, and back to normal lockscreen. It was never like this.
- iPad Pro 5th gen
- My iPad is updated
- I have good storage
- My app background refresh is off
- I deleted Alight Motion afterwards (first I offloaded, but then I deleted)
PS: My iPad shut off again as I was typing this. Please help! :(
