iCloud.com Calendar application/service - Notes Features not working

PROBLEM:

Up until recently I was able to access calendar items with their full functionality. For example, the Meeting hyperlinks (Google Meet, Zoom, Go To Meeting, etc.) were active links that I could click on the "notes" section of the invite in iCloud.com/calendar, selct the link, copy it to open in my broswer. Recently, the iCloud calendar went "dark" (my term) meaning I can't click on it to highlight or select text to copy and past the meeting link (or anythign at all i nthe notes) to the browser directly. I have to use my iPhone to access the meetings. Not ideal sicne muy PC has my camera set up for meetings at my desk. THe only way around this to use the PC is to open a new tab and hand type the invite into my browser.

QUESTIONS:

1) Is there a setting that has been tripped up or turned off that I need to edit?

2) Is there something that has changed when using the mime ICS or ICS (itnernational calendar file format) links that are sent with these meeting invites that we must itneract with differntly now to allow iCloud.com/calendar to allow the user to access the meeting (and other) links and text in general?

3)Typically, two ICS links are sent with each invite, a MIME ICS and regualr ICS. Is one preferred over the other for iCloud.com/Calendar?

My assumption is that somethjng changed with the ICS files and it is limting iCloud.com/calendar's access to the meeting information.

MY MACHINE:
