Apple Watch not picking up activity in warehouse house

It seems every time I go into the warehouse my Apple Watch does not pickup any of the steps I take and I have even tried walking very fast to raise my heart rate but this still not being picked up.

The other thing as well is that battery drains soo quickly soon as I go in when normally it would last much longer when I’m not in the warehouse. I could go in with a full battery and it will last maximum 2hours whereas this normally lasts me day depending on activities
