Why is my Apple Watch a day behind my iPhone even after mirroring?

Almost every week I will notice my Apple Watch is a day behind.

It is paired to my iPhone and set to mirror iPhone.

both the watch and phone have the latest update.

Which Apple Watch model do you have?

And does it have the cellular option?

Did you already try to force restart your iPhone and Apple Watch?

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

If this does not work, unpairing the watch would be the next step:

The backup for the Apple Watch is part of the iPhone backup. So, as long as you still have the latest iPhone backup, you will be able to restore the watch from that backup, if you unpair and set it up again.

You will not lose your Fitness data, which is synced via iCloud and the Health data on your iPhone.

Apple Watch Series 9 (GPS).

Yes, Force quitting and rebooting fixes it.

fixing it isn’t the issue. The fact that I have to do it weekly is the issue. I can’t just look at my watch for the date, I have to check it against my phone or calendar then fix it if it’s wrong. I shouldn’t have to fix something as simple as the date on a weekly basis.
