Why does my AirPods Pro case lose charge so fast?

My new Air Pods Pro case charges fine, but daily or every other day goes down to 1% charge. I only use the Air Pods 1-2 hours per day. This seems like a very short charge life for the case. Or is this normal? Any advice?
