Apple motion can't export videos

I can't export videos from Apple Motion. The progress bar always gets stuck at 0%. After waiting a long time, it only outputs a 0KB file. I’ve tried restarting the computer, reinstalling Apple Motion, and deleting user settings, but none of these methods worked. I have enough storage space and 16GB ram, and I'm using M1 pro macbook with the latest version of Apple Motion and OS. Even if I tried a blank project, it still can't export. I successfully exported once but like 99% time it can't export.

Apple provides articles (links below) to help with exporting Motion projects.

Eg: see:

Intro to exporting projects

Export a QuickTime movie

Export to Apple devices

Export to email

Export using Compressor

If Apple's documented methods are also not working for you: You may want to provide feedback to Apple:

Although it won't help immediately, and Apple likely won't reply, your feedback will reach those who work behind-the-scenes at Apple. All feedback is carefully read and logged, and if others have similar issues, we may see an update that addresses them.

Where are you exporting to? How are the drives formatted and how much free space exists on the system drive and on the to which you are exporting?

When the application misbehaves, deleting preferences may help. To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting the application and click Delete Custom Settings. The application will start with default settings. Adjust the settings, reopen the project you were working, and see how it works now.

If the problem persists: Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here.
