Why won’t my AirPods Pro 2 pass the fit or hearing test?

I purchased the Air Pod Pro 2 to help with a hearing issue. Many have told me that it is great, works perfectly, etc. etc etc. I am trying to set it up but cannot get past the hearing nor the fit test. I have changed to all four of the tips, and nothing.

Yes, I was in a totally quiet room, yes, I can hear the music, but them I get a message that the ear tips need to be changed.

Any suggestions? I am trying to retest and refit.... may just take them back.
