Remote app in control center on iphone and ipad iOS 18.5 does not work in apple tv 18.5

I don't usually use the control center app on my Xr or iPad mini (both with OS 18.5 installed) so for this conversation I just tested both devices again and both control the Apple TV like they're supposed to work. I can only suggest those of you having problems should put your heads together and find some common ground like for example what apps each of you have installed. If the "issue" is truly within the OS update it should show up on all of our devices.

Same issue, I have not found a fix for it yet either. The AppleTV shows up at the top but will not control it. Both Phone (15 Pro Max and 4th gen AppleTV) are up to date. Worked fine until I updated my phone.

Been dealing with the issue as well. I was somehow (unable to replicate) able to get it to work again but the next day stopped working. Did all the standard suggestions and even factory reset. No luck. From what I’ve seen , certainly related to recent software updates. Maybe iOS 26 will fix it 😉

I’m also having this issue with the control centre app on iPad and phone, although the phone seems to maintain connection better. So frustrating
