How do I fix my MacBook (2017) flickering with colourful horizontal, vertical stripes and white halo on screen?

My Macbook (2017) started flickering with colourful horizontal and vertical stripes, I hadn't knocked it or damaged it in anyway. Then after a few weeks a white halo also appeared around the edge of the screen. Is there anyway to fix this?
