How to resolve 'Configuration for iPhone could not be downloaded' error during MDM enrollment?

I am trying to enroll the freshly reset iPhone again in the MDM. However, I am getting an error the configuration for your iphone could not be downloaded from blue power partners a/s. the operation couldn’t be completed. (bycloudconfigretreiveprofilefromweberrordomain error -1.

It sounds like your iPhone was under management by a corporation or school system who has not released it. If this is the case, then as you discovered, resetting it does not nullify the ownership. The owner will have to go thru the steps outlined in the link below.


If you recently purchased this iPhone from a third party (not Apple or one of their authorized retailers), then try to get a refund. It may be a stolen phone.
