How do I set text to phone as the default 2FA method for Apple services on Windows?

Is it possible to set a default 2FA method? I have a Windows computer with some Apple apps on it, and also a Mac. Previously (before I had the Mac) signing into Apple services on the Windows computer would send a text to my (non-Apple) phone. However, it's now sending authorization codes to the Mac when I sign into Apple services on Windows - which I don't want as if I'm using the Windows computer then I'm not using the Mac at that time!

Is it possible to configure it to use text to phone as the default 2FA method? I've had a look in the settings and can's see anything obvious.

Thanks

When I sign into the Apple forums, I am presented with the same dilemma. Once I select the phone# to notify, the webpage then displays options in case the notification was not received. There is a Resend Code option as well as to try another method if a device is not available for a code.....that allows me to select Text, Phone Call, and something else which I don't recall. Look around to see if there is a way to select another option.
