The recent Beats Pill models can receive audio through their USB-C port from a compatible device.
The iPod classic however, has no way of connecting to it for digital audio transfer.
It's probably going to be easier and more functional to get a Bluetooth transmitter you can connect to the iPod using its now 3.5mm headphone jack.

Thank you. i didn't even know that they made a bluetooth transmitter even though i should have. By the way you stated the with the Beats Pill can receive audio through their USB-C port from a compatible device. what are compatible devices? Just for personal knowledge.
Newer iPhones, iPads and Macs with a USB-C port.
