Dell displaylink D6000 MacBook Pro M4 Connection Issue

I have a Dell Displaylink D6000 that I have used, with no problems, for several years to my MacBook Pro (M1). I have a monitor, an EHD, and USB keyboard dongle connected to the docking station. It also provides power. I have recently purchased a new MacBook Pro (M4) and now when my MacBook goes to sleep or I reboot, I have to unplug and reconnect my docking stations before it will recognize the docking station peripherals and begin charging. And I have to wait a bit to reconnect successfully (it's probably after the MacBook has completed some start up routines). Once it connects everything is fine while I am working. I don't get any disruptions or drops in connectivity. It's not the port. I have 3 usb-c ports, and the problem exists with all of them. And I can get it to eventually connect, it just takes several tries and is a pain in the neck. And when I plug in my old MacBook (M1) and power it up, it works fine. Anyone else have a similar docking station issue that they have been able to resolve? TIA

No, I have not found anything to fix this problem. The annoying part is not so much that I have to plug it back in, but that I have to do it several times before it connects. If you find anything, could you please LMK and if I do, I will reply to my post here. I’m thinking of calling Apple. They will probably tell me they don’t support peripherals, but I’m going to try.

Hi did you get anywhere with this, I have the same issue on a mac pro m4.

I have the latest firmware from dell for the D6000 dock and Display Link Manager 1.12.3 (Build 81) is at the latest version. The only reliable way I can get it to connect is to reboot my mac after connecting the dock.

The dock also works perfectly with my other windows 11 based laptops.
