90+ percent of my music has been deleted by iTunes. I DID PURCHASE all those vinyl records I transferred to MP3s and physical CDs that I put on iTunes back in the 90’s. I don’t use iCloud as a back up, my back up is a second Apple device but that iTunes deleted everything also. How do I get all my music back?

It would be odd that your music would disappear without you doing something to affect that change (and certainly not on two independent devices). Have you searched your Mac for the missing items? Have you done anything that would have caused the change? If you have no backup, there is nothing to restore. You can rip the content again from your library.
I too have lost all my iTunes recordings - purchased items as well as home recordings and playlists. I think this happened when iTunes was dropped by Apple. Question is where can I find all my recordings now? (I don't use iCloud).
Replying to myself here. I dug out an old iMac and was able to copy all the iTunes content to a memory stick and then via an adapter to my MacBook. Why oh why does Apple keep changing ports.
