i offloaded the Keynote app so i could install an update. when i try to onload it, it says i need to manually reinstall because its not on app store app? How do I manually reinstall the app?

Are you running an older version of MacOS? (I'm assuming this is on a Mac, not an iPad?)
The App Store will only show the latest version of an app, so if you're running an older OS version, it may not appear for you because it's not compatible with your system.
For older apps, though, you should be able to go to the App Store and click on your Apple Account icon in the bottom of the sidebar. This will take you to previously-installed apps that can be reinstalled.
