Why can't my Mac Studio connect to the internet via Ethernet?

I just got a Mac Studio M4 Max, after backing up the files from the old computer I connected it to the ethernet/internet but is not accessing the web.

In the network window ethernet is “connected” and green, but I can’t access the web.

I use a switch in order to have the computer, printers and pc connected, tried direct connection from the router, but it’s the same.

When I connect it to the old Mini it works perfectly.

The Mac Studio M4 Max only supports Ethernet connections at least 1 Gigabit speeds. This requires cables with all eight conductors in the cables, and wired properly. Four-conductor ethernet cables are useless, and any Router or Switch you connect to DIRECTLY must be Gigabit Ethernet capable.

That said, I would not expect to see status 'Connected' if these were defective. Do you also have a valid local IP address, and a Router IP address showing in the Ethernet status pane?
