Apple Thunderbolt Display A1407 to use with PC Thunderbolt 4 .

I try to use my Apple 27" Thunderbolt display with my laptop MSI Vector 16 HX A14V , it has Thunderbolt 4 ( IRQ 1134) follow @Karimmd thread recommended to use Gigabyte Alpine-Ridge (rev 2.0).

I try to purchase

1- apple adapter thunderbolt 2(mini DP) to Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C)

2- after market startech adapter StarTech.com Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter (Non-Reversible) - TB3 Laptop to TB2 (20Gbps) or TB1 (10Gbps) Devices / Displays - Black - Windows/Mac (TBT3TBTADAP) .

None of them works.

Can you help to support ? My cinema display works fine with modern Mac devices

Thunderbolt Displays are very different from Cinema Displays.

You can not plug the wires, connecting to TB display (along with correct adapters), and then expect plug-n-play while under Windows operation systems.

There will be needing many drivers (remember "BootCamp"? - that Mac can run Windows with its supplies of Windows drivers for TB display) -- might not worth the effort since 4K displays are quite attractive, in terms of price.
